The Newport Winter Festival is a unique winter experience,
offering food, music, entertainment, and fun for all ages. The 2002
festival featured horse-drawn hayrides, sand sculptures, chili and pizza
cookoffs, a city-wide scavenger hunt, an ice sculpting competition,
a children's fair, an amazing illusionist, the annual fantasy auction,
and more. The festival was named one of the top 100 events in North
America by the American Bus Association and 34th of the top 250 events
in the country by Events Business News. Information on the
